The Arizona ˿Ƶ of Commerce & Industry this week was recognized for excellence in public policy and membership development at the annual gathering of the National Association of State ˿Ƶs and the Association of State ˿Ƶ Professionals at the Greenbrier Resort in West Virginia.
The awards: The Arizona ˿Ƶ was recognized for Excellence in Political Engagement by the NASC, and for Outstanding Growth in Membership by the ASCP.
The award for political engagement recognizes the ˿Ƶ’s ability to advance its public policy goals in a challenging political environment that includes the first partisan split in Arizona state government in more than a decade.

On the membership side, the ˿Ƶ has experienced tremendous growth, which ˿Ƶ President and CEO Danny Seiden attributes to the value the organization creates for its members and to its tremendous team.
“Arizona job creators know that they’ve got the Arizona ˿Ƶ in their corner, pushing back against government overreach, red tape, and policies that stifle growth,” he said. “I’ll admit I’m a little biased, but I truly believe we’ve got the best team of advocacy, membership, and legal professionals in the country fighting for the folks who make our country’s system of free enterprise the envy of the world.”
The NASC and ASCP: The is the national organization for state chamber CEOs and their executive leadership, promoting cooperation and sharing best practices among state chambers of commerce.
